Myst 3 on Laptop Computers and on the Mac:

I used a 1999 G3 PowerBook with 192 MB of RAM and 1.5 GB of free hard drive space. Myst 3 would not run with Mac OS 8.6 but did run when upgraded to 9.04 and 9.1. However the game is very dark and the active matrix screen was not bright enough to allow me to see everything. There were places, especially in Edanna, where I literally never saw the route I took even after reading a walk through telling me where to go. Maybe the new TFT screens are bright enough, but the older screens are not.
