    Food Disasters:
At lunch, the lemon sole looks like an old banana. The custard pours nicely on the jelly but turns out to be mayonnaise and the boys vegetarian nut cutlet is only mashed potatoes.

Ben is worried about Russell and Jeanie. Ria, looking sadly out the window, says it will be OK. Noting her attitude he ask's what's wrong. When she doesn't really answer he says on this day Ria started to leave him. Ria confesses she did leave, not as a wife but as a person. But please wait for her and she will be back. (Very powerful scene.- JTB)

    Summary:
In Bed, when Ben turns off the radio love advice show, Ria says she can't sleep with it off. She gets him to ask why she isn't sleeping but pesters him instead of answering because he isn't awake enough to listen. He sits up in bed to listen but now he is angry. After Ria says no one pays attention to her boring daily routine, they drop it. Ben thinks he's in real trouble this time. Ria turns the love advice show back on but shuts it off when it starts describing her symptoms. Ben notices that.

Thomas checks Leonard's humorous tax return. Leonard says he put his business diary in Ria's Mini on purpose.

In the church Ria asks God to help her. She says she hasn't actually committed adultery but wants to know what comes next. Why has he done this to her. Yells to God - tell me what to do. Back in the Mini she finds the diary and says a silent thank you towards the church.

In the social security, the boys try to con the agent into giving them extra money for trousers. They get one pair to share since they refused to come to the window separately.

Ria mists the plants and asks the fern if it would like something more exciting. She mists the salad too. The lemon sole looks like an old banana. Ben says he is going to start paying attention to her day from now on and asks what she did. She has to tell him about the church. The boys come in for their vegetarian meal but the nut cutlet is only mashed potatoes. Adam says they have a chance to buy a window cleaning business. Ben says OK. Russell comes back quiet from a phone call - he is a father.

Leonard's girlfriend wakes him up where he fell asleep on her shoulder watching TV. She answers Ria's call saying he isn't there.

After the guys leave, Ria starts to make a shopping list and ends up noting she is a grandmother - it's too soon for her. Then she adds blue hair rinse and other old age items to the list.
