    Special Events:
The final scene with Ria's big smile that Leonard prevented her from dropping him from her life by roping her car to his. He was listening and does care.

    Summary:
In the front hall, Ben bellows that he can't find his garden hose. Ruby walks through and tells him everyone is out.

Ria visits a small church and asks apologetically if her mundane life is all there is, destroying another flower of course. Leonard stops in (he saw the parked Mini) and flirts with her. Thomas reminds Leonard he has an appointment to go to. Ria asks God, "Are you trying to confuse me?"

In the dining room, Ben explains to the boys how his financial support is vital to everyone. After the boys leave, Ria comes in, pushes the table out of the way, sits in front of Ben and instructs him to kiss her and excite her. He does and she explains she wanted to see if she still fancied him because, from now on, everything in her life has to be right. Then she drops the teapot because it makes bad tea.

One of Ben's patients is philosophical and won't leave, instead talking about marriage and how he isn't going home tonight just to upset his wife.

The boys visit Ria in her room to show off Adam's new curly hair. Ria says they have to stop shocking their dad and he has to hide the hair some way. After a short lecture they tell her their friends fancy her. Ria happily returns to looking at her wrinkles in the mirror. She calls the office to find out why Ben is late but he doesn't answer - on purpose.

Next morning Ria is angry with Ben, clangs his plate in front of him several times, and rails at him finally tossing him the milk and sugar splashing it over him. She starts worrying about what Ben was up to last night. Adam hides his hair under a crash helmet, which was probably just as shocking as the hair might have been.

During lunch with Leonard, Ria talks about changing her life (another batch of dead flowers) and getting rid of things that bother her including Leonard who unnerves her. He doesn't seem to be paying much attention but agrees with her. However, when she tries to drive away she discovers he has had Thomas rope her car to his which pleases her very much.
